Since the BNSF and Up are parallel compeditors, they don't interchange that many trains on run throughs, so there is less opportunity to exchange power. UP has a lot more run through with CSX and NS back east than it does with BNSF. And the same goes for BNSF with CSX / NS vs UP. Therefor you will not see as much UP on BNSF and vice versa.
