Posted by AlcoRS11Nut on Tuesday, April 12, 2005 9:20 PM This is a good example of how effort and persistance pays off........about 4 years ago I started to try to get a Job-Shadow with the railroad in town. When I first started trying I never really got a real human, or if I did they just blew me off as someone "just wanting a cab ride". But FINALLY, when I am a Senior in High School I was able to set one up. It was today and, can I just say I never wanted to work for the Railroad more! I can hardly wait till June 5th and I can finally apply for the RR, and work on a train crew. I don't know if the guys that helped me get my job-shadow belong to TRAINS.COM and go into the forums but if you guys do..........THANKS A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Matt I love the smell of ALCo smoke in the Morning. "Long live the 251!!!" I miss the GBW and my favorite uncle is Uncle Pete. Uncle Pete eats Space Noodles for breakfast. Reply Join our Community!
