Local access TV has shown his old shows but most of it looks to be 10+ years old. Finally there is someone else on this forum who has seen the show.

This is a really, really old thread. I was wondering if Trackside is on TV anymore. I know that RFDTV quit showing it a few years ago. I used to like watching it. Some nice shots and info there.

Just curious,

If you have DirecTV, RFD TV is channel 379. I did notice that they changed the schedule for the train shows recently, I have'nt been able to find Trackside lately.

Spbed, if you have satallite, you automatically get RFD-TV. If you have
Dishnetwork, it's on channel 9409. It's one of those channels they
automatically have, and you don't have to subscribe to RFD or anything.
Not sure about any of the cable companies, though. If you have Direct TV,
don't know the channel number for them.

I'm glad they're making some more "Trackside" episodes. I get a big kick out of Dave and wish I could railfan with him some time. Trackside Fan posts here often, and is the producer of the show. So when will we get some new episodes?

I believe APT (Aurora Public Television) which produces Trackside has a web site that lists the various stations around the nation that carry Trackside.

I haven't seen "Trackside" on RFD here in Milwaukee for the past couple of months. I don' know if they dropped it or what. I enjoyed Dave Reed and the show, they always had interesting locations and information. "Trains and Locomotives" is still on though.

show will 'air' ?

"Trackside" TV show at Eola yard
Posted by eolafan on Monday, April 11, 2005 10:19 PM
On Sunday I rolled up to my favorite fanning spot at the Eola yard in Aurora on McClure Road and what do I see but Dave Reed and his "Trackside" TV crew photographing for their TV show website. Got to meet Dave and talk for a few minutes. He is a nice guy and signed me up for their news letter.
