need help finding photos of Kaiser Steel U30C's

I have been all over the web and back again and i cant find any photos of the Kaiser Steel eagle mountain U30C's. My Atlas units will be here soon and i need some pictures so i can detail and weather them.

thanks for any help you can give. :)

Might be there are none. I don't think they made public appearances. That line was pretty remote.

Don't know if you've tried a "google search" or not;
and find their web site,
But they do list an e-mail address for the Eagle Mountain R.R.
And there is mention of U30s.
(may not be what you want/or need.)

Did you ask the folks at Atlas about the source materials, doubtless including photos, that they used to develop the model?

Likewise, posting on forum.atlasrr.com might find you something, even if it's only someone with slides to sell...

The June 1996 issue of Model Railroader, page 81, has a good photo of 4 KS U30C's.

I saw a pic of one in a diesel spotter guide from about 1985 about 2 days ago.

I think that must be something else. These were red. Rumor has it they were scrapped in 1985.

Those must be the exDetroit Edison units.

KS's U30C's were retired in 1986 and were scrapped by 1995.

I think both Railfan and Rail Classics did photo stories on this road. You might have to track down a copy.
