Who knows how many Southery Railway locos in origional paint today in revenue service?If so what are the model Des. and #s?

I have heard that several years ago NS repainted an ex Southern GP59 green an lettered it for Southern, dedicating it to SOU's employees. I am not sure. I never saw it, but I have seen an HO scale model (which means absolutely nothing about reality). That is just a lead you might want to explore.

there is a 4600 series engine painted southern green running around i think its 4600 or 4601 i could be wrong i have had it in my consist a few times they always have it in the rear of the consist. it is pretty when they decide to wash it.

The unit's road number is 4610, it's very pretty (but it's not original), we havent seen it in a while though....(since 1994, to be exact)
