In the old days it ran up to Reno and connected with the SP (CP) from Carson City. It also had a connection with the Carson & Colorado at Mound House. Well connection is not quite accurate as the C & C was narrow guage. It was more of a transfer. This streach from Carson City to Mound House is what is being restored. rossrobertmore, I don't think this is feesable. There are many places on the right of way where houses have been built. I don't think there's anywhere near enough population to support a commuter operation.
