A week ago I saw an MBTA orange line train in malden, Mass direction and an MBTA commuter rail GP40 pulling 8 coaches in medford, Mass. Last night I heard the horn of a Guilford GP40 ,or possibly a GP40-2 from 3\4's of a mile away, at around midnight.

Today I saw a Duluth,MIssabe, and Iron Range unit taconite train depart the Forbes plant with 150 loaded ore cars. I also had a D.M.I.R. mixed freight train put on a show for me by throttling to notch 8 when they went by. Talk about a THRILL!!!!

On Sat I saw 2 CSX SD 40-2 married back to back just sitting outside the AT station in Delray Beach FL. That location is at sea level so for sure they were not going into helper service.

How about a couple of CNRR units only pulling a merchandise train on the BNSF transcon in Ft. Madison IA? [:p][:D][:o)]

The other day I was driving through Medford, Mass. when I ran into a detour. Apparently someone's SUV got partially stuck under a commuter train or something. All I saw was this train stopped in the middle of the crossing, a smashed car on the other side, dozens of people outside next to the train, and several emergency vehicles. Anyone know what happened?

It's kinda hard to park them SUVs under a train. They just don't have the clearance for em'.
