Hi,
Selkirk is a good location. It also has a three bridges running across. One at the south end, one at the north end and one near the engine terminal. I preferred the north end north of the bridge with trains entering and leaving the yard. The tracks are accessible through an industrial area.

Where are some good train watching locations around Albany, NY along the ex D&H and Conrail Lines? I will be in Albany the week of August 5, 2002.
Thank you in advance.
