What is going on with the Ft madison web cam?
There are days when it's on & and there others when it's not on.
What's going on?

Yes I have been refreshing it every 15 minutes or so with no luck except that I did get a pix for a few secs a short time ago so I took that mean someone is working on it. [:D]

It is 0810 on 03/01 & I am now watching a BNSF TOFC train pass the webcam [:D]

I haven't had too many problems with that site, although I think there is a different camera there now - it doesn't zoom in as closely as it used to - can't see the bridge as well. The zoom is occasionally squirrely, too.

Would be nice if they would/could limit the pan and tilt to usable parameters. No fun looking at the bricks on the front of the Elks lodge....

Yea it was down from last weekend thru yesterday morning when it returned. Yes they also changed the operation of it as at one time you could direct the camera to the steam loco or the bridge or ATSF depot or CBQ depot just ti name some options. Now you cannot get those options. [:o)]

Yes I agree with you all the way. The Cam does have it flaws too. It tends to go out of Focus alot. And makes me so mad is when a Train is coming some moron who is controling the cam points the cam away when the train goes by[:(!],That makes me so angry!
