Union Pacific Railroad auction brings in 500 Thousand Dollars.

A three day auction of items from the former headquarters of UP Corp. totaled about $500,000,according to the auction company.
More than 10,000 items were offered,ranging from office equipment and cleaning supplies to tools and a few antiques.
The hightest sale prices for a single item was $4,900--plus a 10% fee--for a walnut wardrobe from the 1800s,said Tanner Hernandez,general manager of prime time auctions of pocatello,idaho.
The auction set a record form proxibid,an Omaha company that provides live auction web casts and online bidding. The company registered 665 people for bidding in 2000,said Ken maxwell,a vice president and a founding partner.
