Start moving product actoss the face of the earth, no matter the method of transportation - things happen.

But the rubber on pavement is the far worse.

Why?

Rubber tired vehicles carrying HAZMAT bring that material closer to inhabited areas more of the time than the other forms of land transport.

Sulphur fires can be nasty, besides the toxic fumes the stuff burns with a pale blue flame that is very hard to see in daylight.

It is quite flammable under the right conditions, we've had fires at loadouts just from little sparks from braking or a wheel flange rubbing on the rail.

Hard to keep them trains on the tracks."

Everyday that I crossed over I 85 here at home traffic was back up because of a jack knife 18 wheeler.

Whenever man moves - incidents will happen.  What is the most frequent cause of personal injuries - slips, trips and falls.  All of which are within the ability of the individual to prevent.

Start moving product actoss the face of the earth, no matter the method of transportation - things happen.

This is a once-busier line south from Cincinnati toward Knoxville that CSX sort of downgraded a few years ago with the loss of coal business.  I had it at only four trains per day in 2021.
