Hey apparently these are for sale in NY city.   Great railfan platform and nobody can reach you while in use.

If NYPD had it constructed - how did they plan to deploy it with it being conspicuous and drawing attention wherever they parked in a extended condition?

The military has a number of these sans the van (trailers).  Used to see them at the gates all the time.

With their tinted windows, I'm not convinced that they were always manned.

Just need you to think they're watching...

Denver has at least two of those rascals. Great for crowd control and dealing with some of the finer citizenry. Replaced more recently with the more modern "blue light specials" that have remote cameras with better optics. (seem to have appeared in recent history and seem to be everywhere)

Mudchicken, I know this may not be the correct forum for this message/post, but I happened across your posts around easements, trails, right of ways etc... via a google search...and you seem to really know your stuff.  I am looking for help in regards to these topics and would like to see if you would be willing to share some of your time and knowledge....I dare to say in this forum I would gladly pay for your time....but I most definately will.  I just don't want to invalidate this site/forums policy....but don't know another way to contact you.
