Thanks, I missed that when I checked out the Port's website.

This link from the Port of Brisbane mentions a dual gauge link to the transportation network.

Access to Container Port

Can Peter or BDA, or anybody else familiar with Australian railway operations please tell me if standard gauge trains can access the Fisherman Islands terminal in the Port of Brisbane? I ask because the wiki says that standard gauge freights terminate at the yard in Acacia Ridge, while the single daily passenger train from Sydney can use the dual-gauge to reach the Roma St. terminus next to the central business district. The wye where the line to the port branches off in between the two points. There is a code letter for the terminal for use on Interstate standard gauge network.
