The only new problem I'm facing is the inability to insert links under both Firefox and Safari. The ads went away when I turned on the "https only" mode under Firefox, though there may be some assistance with accessing the forums from cs.trains.com.

Has anybody else had problems with this site freezing?

Yes, and in more than one respect -- I attribute it tentatively to yet another expedient ad-content issue.

I am now seeing a return not only to two-stage jump-up ads at the bottom but that annoying border that springs out to cover the margin of the text-entry box.  On an iPhone this actually locks up shift on the keyboard so you can't type numbers or punctuation for a while.  Twice in the past hour the crap has gotten so bad that I can only see two lines of text on my screen when typing.

In addition, when I reupped my print subscription I also got free digital access. Does anyone know where I even go to view it? It's not obvious, so I'm not sure if that bit is working for me or not. Been meaning to call support to ask about it, but haven't gotten around to it.

Under Trains.com where you click to access the forums, hover over the link "Magazines", you will get a drop down menu click on "Archives". Scroll down
to which ever magazine you want.

I don't have that particular issue, but my old problems now had a twist. While I'm a Trains and Classic Trains subscriber, it's been common for me to be denied access to things like the Newswire (I'm told I've reached my limit, even though I'm a subscriber).

In the past, I'd simply log out and be able to view full articles as a guest (or vice versa; be denied access as a guest and logging in would then let me view it). That trick never failed me, but now the site just doesn't let me even log out.

So while I'm paying, I'm frequently now having to input url's into Google to read their cached version.

I'd love to pay for their Trains Unlimited subscription to access the Model Railroader archive (I'm pretty well set with their physical DVD archive programs for Trains and Classic Trains), but until things actually start to work I fear I'd just be throwing money away.

In addition, when I reupped my print subscription I also got free digital access. Does anyone know where I even go to view it? It's not obvious, so I'm not sure if that bit is working for me or not. Been meaning to call support to ask about it, but haven't gotten around to it.
