Good afternoon - I was hoping you could help me with a project or at least point me in a direction of assistance.

I am trying to find a motor for a semaphore. The semaphore is an upper quadrant, three position, high signal, with just one signal on the mast. It was built prior to 1900 and was originally (I believe) kerosene operated. I believe this particular semaphore was originally born for work in Louisiana.

The piece is now located on private property in Texas but the motor was stolen. I am trying to get the piece back in operational order and will need a compatible motor/wiring to make that happen.

Any thoughts out there from anyone who may help me get this historic piece back in working order?

Many thanks.

I suggest posting your request on the Railway Preservation News forum:

http://www.rypn.org/forums/viewforum.php?f=1

They know of many sources for this type of equipment.  Good luck with your project.
