Produce district was down in there as was the Big 4 Office Building. (burned in 1978?)

I remember strings of reefers parked in Cincinnati on the tracks near the boat landing area south of 2nd Street where the stadiums are now located. Not sure what RR handled them. Got an adrenaline bolus one day when I drove between two strings of parked cars and the slack was pulled on a string next to me that I wasn't expecting.

Question ought to be directed at NYC historical at Elkhart, IN. After 1922 I would think Big 4 and NYC would be hard to separate.

Hey all, does anyone know if the Big Four's Ohio Division had any reefer traffic in the 40s and 50s? I assume it did, I just don't know much in the way of details.
