BaltACD, herdebu is correct, the Dispatcher for the Delaware & Hudson also handles the Soo Line's Detroit Lakes and Noyes Subdivisions. Both are TWC and not very busy. The sale of some D&H lines to NS reduced the D&H Dispatcher's area by half. To re-balance the Soo Line's Dakota Dispatcher gave up the two subdivisions. He already had three busier subdivisions from Glenwood, MN to Portal, ND. Plus the branch to Max, ND.

I doubt that CP has the same Dispatcher handling lines in Minnesota and New York, under the guise of DH Dispatcher.
I suspect DH is a part of the CP's naming conventions for their Train Dispatchers.
CSX also uses two letter designations for their Train Dispatchers. On my former territory (Baltimore Division) - BA Desk handled New Castle to Connellsville. BB Desk handled Connellsville to Weverton [through Cumberland], BC Desk handled Weverton to Baltimore over Cap/Met and Old Main Line, BD Desk handled the RF&P from DC to Richmond, BE Desk handled Baltimore Terminal to Philadelphia, BF Desk handled Cumberland to Huntington [former B&O Mountain SD and Ohio River SD].
Atlanta Division desks were sequenced off of A as the initial letter. Jacksonvilled Division used the letter J as the initial letter.
When it comes to naming things - each carrier will use a 'system' that makes sense to them, and them alone.
