Train cards given out from the Experience Union Pacific Car during the 2019 4014 tour.

My wife, son, and myself went to see 4014 back in 2019 when it ran through Iowa. When it was parked at DesMoines we went through the Experience Union Pacific car and the nice gentleman who was working in the car at the time gave my son a small pack of cards that had drawings of different UP heritage engines and information about them on the back. I think there was about 6 or 8 of them, about the size of playing cards.

My son who was 3 at the time he got them treasures these cards, and today we went to an outdoor festivle here in town and he had them in his pocket and they must have fallen out because they weren't in his pocket when we got back to the car. Needless to say he was pretty upset, to the point of tears. For a 3 year old to keep anything for 2 years is pretty amazing. I have searched online and I can't find anything remotely similar to this set of cards, I'd really like to find another set to replace them.

Anyone have any idea?

Thanks.

I suggest contacting the PR person responsible for Iowa.  Since you went to Des Moines, I'm assuming you're in Iowa.

Unhappy to see a 5-year-old railfan unhappy.  I cannot provide the cards, but perhaps your printing some or all of my scans of my trip on the last eastbound City of Los Angeles may give your son some consolation, just in case the  cards are not returned.  I may post two scans of the same thing, because I have yet to perform my ususl repair work on some this material.

I made a quick look around online and didn't see anything that fits your description.  I guess I would check Ebay every so often.

Good luck.

Late last night I finally figured out the correct search and found 1 set on eBay. As soon as they get here I'm going to scan them so I'll have them permanently.

Thanks everyone! And Dave, thanks very much for posting all of those, very interesting to see.
