I've seen this area before. It looks like Morant's Curve in Canada.

And the railroad would be CP rail.

I have the GE poster/ad insert from the February "TRAINS" hanging at my desk and wondered where this photo shoot was located?? Any of the forum engineers out there know this location? [?]
