Hi,
I am writing on behalf of a small group of expats living in Vietnam that are working on a website (and a book) about the history of the railways in Vietnam and would like to contact Mr. Jerry A. Pinkepank (who wrote about South Vietnam railways in the Trains magazine in the late 60s).
We would really appreciate if someone could put us in touch with him in order to help us clarify some rolling stock issues etc. from those times.
Thanks & Regards,
Janez
This is an article he wrote for Trains back in the Sixties

I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.
I don't have a leg to stand on.
Thanks !
Yes, that would be us.
Have the hardcopies of the magazines as well.
My speculation would be that Jerry would have more infos & especially photos of the old French steam & rolling stock (that was still around in those times) than just those shown in the articles.
