It's not clear to me how much dip there was. At that critical second the videographer jarred the camera, and I think that exaggerates the perception of how much the the rail car got bumped.

As far as I could tell only the last truck on the last car experienced that "bump", and it seemed severe.

The video doesn't show much of the other cars at the crossing, but it did look like they did a dip there.  If they are using tight-lock couplings, that would have moderated the dip.  The last truck didn't have that advantage.

Ah, I ran the clip a bunch of times and did hear the jolt between the last and second last cars.  I guess the running noise of the cars closer to the camera masked the sound somewhat, and the noise wasn't there when the last truck hit that dip.

Don't think the paint on the engine could have been any more 'weathered' if they actually tried.  The bell on the engine sounds like it should be on a toddlers tricycle.

In Wisconsin both UP and CP do a pretty good job with community relations.   CN not so much and I am not sure what the issue is but they always come across as fairly cold-hearted Fereghi types (Star Trek characters) in the press.

The bell on our SW1 rings like that...

It'll be a little hard for management to ignore that spot now, assuming they're on board...

Balt, I think the inspection car cook was just ringing the triangle to let the crew know the beans and hardtack were ready.
