Going tp News, have to log in again, and each time just returns me to the request to log-in again, "The full text is available......"

I consider the Newswire about the same way Brunel considered the restaurant at Swindon.

Man, that's odd.  I just clicked into "News" with no trouble a'tall.

System haunted?  Too early for Halloween.   Hmm

Lithonia Operator

I often have to re-login on the various Kalmbach sites, especially on my phone.

ODD! Sigh  Similarly, I experienced the same issue.. Having to re-sign in for NEWSWire....

Then the other day(several, now!) Blindfold   I got an 'update' from Firefox; on presentatin of the re-occuring sign-in page; came a request to inport data from 'Edge'.   I made that request: Now I am automatically, presented with the sign-in info on a display macro, at he presentation of the sign-in page....Bang Head  Gotta be GREMLINS.....Whistling   ORRR... Two different things: the 'update' cached the login information (in fusion with the 'saved passwords' feature in the browser) and will load it ... evidently as a modal option now, rather than what it did in my older version which was 'paste and go' like the option in the iPhone.

Kalmbach does the same thing when you set the persistent session cookie with password, for automatic logins, but your new setup doesn't get that far: your browser now helpfully 'autodetects' the site you're going to, helpfully provides the last credentials you entered (whether or not you've updated them on the site since then!) and sits wagging its tail for you to confirm you want to use them.

Theoretically if you try logging in with different credentials it will prompt you to 'save information for this site' and then prefill if you start typing the same thing in at a blank prompt... but who knows?  (Have you tried sending PMs from this site when logged into your 'updated' Firefox?)

The mobile page is the worst. It's also seems to have been hacked with a adware bot..

Going directly to a news item down on the list  -  one or another either retains the login or allows me to log in again.   Whew!

Overmod asked: "...  (Have you tried sending PMs from this site when logged into your 'updated' Firefox?)"

Not recently, but in the 'past'; I had to quit Firefox, and go into M/S Edge,  to be able to PM messages to others here on the Forum.  Will go try it ASAP.

  Thanks!Whistling
