Jefferson City MO is building a new river park. Between it and the Missouri river is UP's tracks. The park is actually the old entrance to the old bridge over the river. From the park looking east the west end of the yard is there. You can get within 10 to 15ft from the track and you our above the trains when they come by

Its a shame that more communities with rail action don't follow the lead of Rochelle etc. It does generate income for the community thereby stimulating the local economy.
