Yes, John Prine will be missed, one of the greatest poets and song writers of our time.
And yes, a style and delivery that carried the message of his songs perfectly.

The first time I heard this song, I was reading a Trains Magazine article on Peabody's coal train, and have always associated the two things since. I don't know if it puts a different spin on the song's message ... to us railfans.
In a sense Calypso Island was worse, if not named quite so iconically.
