In recent years Bombardier has constructed new cars for GO at their Thunder Bay plant.  They move to Toronto on Canadian Pacific.

GO sends older cars to be refurbished by Ontario Northland at their North Bay shop.  It is likely that you saw one of these cars, as they would move on CN trains 451/450, via the Newmarket Sub.

I suspect, but cannot confirm, that these cars will be delivered to GO's Mimico Yard by one of the CN yard or roadswitcher assignments based out of Oakville.

Greetings from Alberta
