Hi
We have lost another friend of railroading. Our Uncle Ken Smith passed away.He was a Wabash man. he even had an engine he built and ran featured in Model Railroader. he always told me stories when we got together about how the trains would run and switch when steam ruled the rails.he was also ready to help others at a moments notice.
So rest in peace Uncle Ken
stay safe

R.I.P. old timer, R.I.P.

As you go to the 'house in the sky a bit of all railroaders go with you. Keep 'em hot, sanded and watered for us. We'll be along to join you bye and bye...

" He's Daddy Claxton may his name forever stand,
Always be remembered throughout this great land,
His earthly race is over and he's answered his last call,
So we'll carry him up to heaven on the Wabash Cannonball..."
