Close to 30 trains a day under overpass and small yard with some crew change on UP (ex CNW) and switching of grain elevator.. Nice Mexican-American Christion family large fresh portions and endless chips..founded by great grandma sometime way back in 1970s..no beer but BYOB from gas station next door.--No Transit Service to Omaha NE despite being bedroom community 20 min by car from city.

I haven't been there, but a few co-workers have and liked it.
I 'travelled' north on Bell to the light, made a left and went down to the end of 1st street. Made another left and there is the depot. The initial image of Anita's says 2018, the image in the depot area is from 2012. It's back when they still had the full size vans and 4 local/yard vans per shift. Back then we weren't allowed to change out at the depot, so had to take vans to the local change out points around Fremont.
Over time, they started cutting off the vans. Now we have only one available and usually change out at the depot. All to save money. The other day for some reason all the trains were again changing out around town. 4 crews waiting for the van to go to 4 different locations. Our outbound said they were ready if we could get down to the depot. We asked the dispatcher if we could change out at the depot. He said he would stack in a signal behind the local making a move.

I think the BNSF crews run between Lincoln and Sioux City. I think they have a yard or local job based in Fremont. I see power, usually two 4-axle GPs, tied up near the exCB&Q depot.
