Quoting Wayne "..., how many of you didn't  get involved in this hobby by way of a toy train?  Hmmmmm?" I, for one. I think it began when an uncle gave my brother Tommy and me a copy of The Modern Wonder Book of Trains and Railroading at Christmas, 1948(?) Two and a half years later, he and I took a trip by train from Charlotte to New Orleans to Chattanooga and back to Charlotte by ourselves. After that, I began making a pest of myself at the local station--and I visited the same agent after he had been moved, twice, to other stations on the same division.

Look for an appropriate video to drop everyone by way of a Christmas card!  Found one!

And don't any of you think this isn't right for this Forum, how many of you didn't  get involved in this hobby by way of a toy train?  Hmmmmm?

So here it is, along with my best wishes to all of you for a Merry Christmas, a Happy Holiday season, and the best of New Years!
