Both sections of the CN Holiday Train were at Woodcrest on Sunday.  One section was powered by 3001, the other had 3076.

The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul

Just got home from a short trip through North Fond du Lac.  Yes, the CN "Santa Train" was in what used to be the bone yard at Shops.  One unit (3017?) and maybe 4 passenger cars.  Reindeer horns on cab roof with Christmas lights on the engine and cars.  Obviously the train was parked in a way that no one could get close.  I think, based on what I'm hearing on the scanner, they are preparing to head north.

A friend called this morning to say the CN would have some type of Christmas or Holiday train passing through the Fond du Lac area this evening.  I know the CP's train may be somewhere in Wisconsin but I've never seen or heard of the CN doing something similar in this part of the country.
