If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.
samfp1943 My issue seems to be; I cannot send a PM message using the Forum 'Conversation'/Message mode. I have communicated in the past successfully using it, but recently, I can fill in the address subject line, but I am unable to fill in the body of the conversation material.... Any ideas for a solution to fix this?
Use a different browser. This is a known issue with the current version of Firefox: the text window is actually there, and you can type text into it during the load, but the 'last step' that finishes loading the tools makes the window unresponsive.
I think Kalmbach's software provider is waiting for Mozilla to fix it, and Mozilla expects the software provider to 'modernize' it ... consensus: nothing gets done.
I use Opera to get around the posting issue -- it's the only browser that still works correctly with Mac OS X 10.6.8.
I previously got a e-mail to notify me of a new PM. That stopped about 6 months ago, without me changing any settings.
Never too old to have a happy childhood!
I called Kalmbach this morning. They still had a web site. Server issue.
I did notice I can log in faster. Maybe a server change over?
Recently, due to other things going on around here....I've just been glancing in on the TRAINS FORUM, during odd hours.
The problem seems to be: I am not alone with various issues regarding use of the FORUM, and its adjunct enhancements(?). Other Posters, as well, have been having some problems, too. Chad sThomas mentions his inabliity to sign in; other Posters have mentioned 'timing out' issues(?).
