What intelligent life?
Cats are pretty smart. They figured out how to get us to worship them as Gods.

But will intelligent life?
Never too old to have a happy childhood!
Got to get me one of these!

Unfortunately, most on here are anthropomorphic global climate change deniers. Sadly, that even takes precedence over trains.
On a lighter note, I found two fine videos for castor oil fans. I'll try to find them and post.
SD70Dude 54light15 I have no problem with flying at all. Especially if the airplane is powered by a Packard-built Merlin engine I've always preferred the Le Rhone rotaries myself. Nothing like the taste of Castor Oil in the morning! Although I could be persuaded to ride in one of the de Havilland bush planes, they are a bit warmer in winter!

I'll stick to the Hisso 220, thanks -- nothing like the effect of Castor Oil in the afternoon, and I don't care for the planning ahead at right angles any more either.
Going to the IWM in Duxford?
Going for a ride in a two-place Spitfire?
I hate youuuuuuuu....
Oh how I hate youuuuuuuu...
Just kidding 54'! I hope you enjoy the ride to the max! It'll be almost like having lunch with Winston Churchill, or Douglas Bader for that matter!
Of course, we'll all expect a full report when you get back, but in the meantime, as Adolf Galland once said...
"Geben sie mir ein Spitfeuer staffel!"
I have no problem with flying at all. Especially if the airplane is powered by a Packard-built Merlin engine and I plan to do that very thing next year when I go to the Imperial War Museum at Duxford and fly in a two-seat Spitfire! Jeez, was that air-bragging? I do plan to take the train from London to Duxford and ride a bicycle from the station to the museum. Train and bike bragging? I'd better stop now.
Better not exhale.
