My wife and I viewed the latest "Elementary" last evening. It involves a retired NYPD police dog that was stolen to help the bad guys retreive a large marjiana boxcar from a rail yard in NYC. The police used passenger schedule time for a shipment from Milwaukee to NYC. It turned out that the shipment was in an RBOX car in a rail yard with a small load of what looked like LCL, which ended about 1971. A small part of an end of the RBOX car was cut open for the drugs to be stashed. If my memory is correct, box cars had a solid end of formed plate steel. Only on TV can you make such a scene.
Anyone know which freight yard or spur that episode was filmed at?

"Elementary?" Isn't that the show with cheap, imitation Sherlock Holmes?
Sorry folks, as far as I'm concerned Basil Rathbone is Sherlock Holmes! There will never be another!

I still wonder where it was shot in the NYC area.
