An ebay search turned up Ohio Valley Railroad #2, a 4-4-0, at Sturgis, Kentucky. OVRR in 1891 became part of CO&SW. Later OVRR 2 became IC 7715. Now have two photos of CO&SW locomotives.

Sorry for the delay in responding - I checked with them and the Paducah Railroad Club -- I was led to R&LHS publication "Railroad History 140 Illinois Central Locomotives" -- this publication has a number of entries on CO&SW locomotives that went to IC. Also has a photo of CO&SW 37 as IC 1436 - thanks for the suggestion

McCracken County Public Library - Don't expect to find much there or thru the IC historical societies, Newberry or Barriger.

Looking for photos of CO&SW locomotives and cars for a project on railroads that operated in Kentucky. Does anyone have any idea of where I might find some photos of this railroad's equipment??
