A guess would be the film was made in the early 1950's.

I did not watch the entire video.  Is there any indication of when this was filmed?  It looks to be quite a few years ago.

Look at all of those people they have working there!  

I'm just glad that we have a safer coupling system than that.  And if our freight cars were as light as those wagons, we would have beegn getting a lot of complaints when we asked those guys to push the cars in the clear.  

I'm very underwhelmed at both the safety and efficiency of that operation.

Fascinating freight cars, though.

When I first started watching I was wondering how they slowed cars coming off the hump... Then I saw the "skates" the men put on the rails.
