I didn't see any coverage of it on tonight's 6:30 PM (EDT) news shows of the 3 major national networks (ABC, CBS, NBC) - more's the pity.
However, I was able to catch some portions of it this afternoon (during a break at work), including the culmination event of "driving" (more like tapping) the spikes. This was carried live by the Salt Lake TV station, KSL 5.

I've viewed only a few minutes of it - it seems to load slowly - and it starts out with the dancing and singing that was part of the today's ceremony. I can't speak to the rest of this video, but the portion I watched live this afternoon had several 'sidebars' on related topics, such as the Big Boy, Ogden, Chinese, the American Indians, the hats worn by today's celebrants, etc.
If you don't have the time to sit and watch it all by itself, it might be something good to turn on and play in the background until you hear something interesting.
If anyone notes the time of the spikes or other more notable parts, it would be good to post it here.
Also, if anyone is aware of any other videos or recordings, it would be good to post the links to them here as well.
Finally: Will Trains have a video of the entire ceremony available for purchase?
