PSR was, apparently, the 'brainchild' of a career railroader; who started his rr 'life' as a 'carknocker' for the Frisco, in Memphis.
Aside from the minor issue of who get credit for PSR, I think that is the most informative article I have seen regarding the explanation of what PSR actually is and why there has been so much resistance to it. Now we need some articles that illustrate precise detailed examples of specific operating scenarios before and after PSR was added.
