There have been several issues with the Virtual Railfan interface with YouTube. Deshler is suffering similar problems. The VR pay site is working fine.

Were I to hazard a guess, the La Plata feed on YouTube has been altered now to better monetize it for VR, as connecting today started with an advertisement. Makes sense when you consider the large number of viewers, especially around times of SW Chief stops. Even away from Chief stop times, there are a good number of watchers, 600+ a few minutes ago.
