Can't figure out the signalling system - Green, Yellow & Red are OK.  However, what are the Lunar White 'stick diagrams' all about.  Don't understand the dwarf signals within the limits of the high signals.

Never too old to have a happy childhood!

Lots of videos of night operations usually lack sufficient lighting or camera resolution, making watching the video tiresome (at least for me); however, this video is very clear, and the headlight illuminates the ROW very nicely.

Thanks for posting.

Beautiful Nighttime Winter Cab Ride down the Brenner Pass

There is a beautiful winter Cab Ride video posted over on YouTube. It was taken a few days ago during a heavy snowfall on the Brenner Pass in Austria during the after midnight hours. The video is shot from the cab of a freight train bound for Germany and covers the complete Austrian portion of the journey. The train appears to have the railway all to itself as it passes though the small towns, like St. Jodok where there are still Christmas decorations illuminated. With the exception of the Innsbrücke bypass tunnel all the long tunnels are avoided as it appears that the Controllers are using the freight to keep the passenger tracks clear during the night when the passenger trains are not running.
