I could be wrong, but I heard they'd deteriorated to junk status.

The last 3 Turboliner left in existence have not been restored. 1 is going for scrap, the other 2 are being used for Safety training, and then are going for scrap.

 

the Turboliners are an important part of Amtrak, and it’s sad to see them go. I guess some broken air conditioning can affect a range of trainsets.

One of the only railfans who gives a crap about the MMA, despite not living IN the northeast.
