I wonder why this one made the newswire (or at least was pinned to the forum) when other, larger UP derailments didn't.  Slow news day maybe?

Perhaps something out of the ordinary...

As Balt notes, all derailments are investigated, But as Napolean (the pig) might say, some derailments are investigated more than others...

Native American tribal reservations nearby and the fabulous past relationship Union Pacific railroad has with them.........maybe?   Just a hunch.
