Hi everyone - I'm doing research into the freight transportation industry with a particular focus on trucking and rail intermodal. In order to better understand how the market works I'd like to dive into one or two contemporary industry publications. I thought I could ask here because I'm already a subscriber to Trains magazine and I've been incredibly impressed by the depth of knowledge and level of activity in this forum. The railroad industry appears to be one that really gets into people's blood.
The Journal of Commerce (JOC) appears to be a strong contender for the industry standard bearer. Progressive Railroading also looks interesting (and appears to be free so that's a no brainer!). Are there any other good ones out there? Does anyone subscribe to the JOC magazine? Incluuding the magazine in your subscription bumps the cost from $349 to $595 a year - wondering if it adds that muchh value to the digital subscription.
Thanks in advance!
