I guess we all need to be on the lookout for bugs as the site has been down for 4 hours.  Trains IT's have never been all that swift.

Yes, it was completely down this evening, but I have had a lot of trouble with it since about the first of this year.  Apparently this depends maybe on browser and operating system.  I use IE and Chrome with Windows 7.  Either one of them works perfect all the time at every website I go.  This site has worked perfectly for me since about 2006 up until about 6 months ago.  Since then, it works perfectly some days, but other days it loads very slowly, it freezes the computer, it gives the long running script error message, and it requires me to sign in about once a day.

Whenever these problems happen, they are worse in IE than with Chrome, but still there are degrees of the same problems in Chrome.  Many days, the site is impossible to use in IE.  So in my opinion, there are some big technical problems with the site that are ongoing.

I know many here are not experiencing any sort of problem, and that's fine for them.  But I wonder how many people have given up posting because of their computers locking up all the time.  We would not necessarily hear about the problems they are having.

I never noticed a thing, must have been offline at just the right times.

At the AFHT today, using Chrome on my newer Android phone.

My computer is now rejiggered to use windows 10, with Firefox, and a blocking program called Ghostery. Recently, it has run the Trains site pretty well, I have not experienced the similar problems as reported by Posters earlier this date.

My problems started, some time back when the web site started running outside advertising, along the periphery of the  site pages. All sorts of strange stuff started happening then; but the tracker blocker seems to have taken care of those issues

Ghostery is an excellent piece of software, I've had it for years on my PC.  I've never had problems with any of the Kalmbach sites.

Seems as if the Train's system was down for a couple of hours again today.

I had problems this morning too, but it started working fine around 12:00 Mountain Time.
