This morning NS had an eastbound 070 train thru Chesterton web cam with 2 NS motors x 70 containers/trailers, mostly UPS. This is not a regular NS movement.
This afternoon at 320pm there was a westbound 071 intermodal train with 3 CSX motors x 170 containers/trailers with heavy Schneider (26),UPS(40) and Maersk refrigerated 53 ft container (36). Looked like a CSX intermodal to me...
Was there a derailment on CSX and thus a re-route?If not, any ideas of what these trains are?Ed
csx was detouring do to a derailment in Nappanee last night.
