Potential buyers have been hirailing the stretch for sale.  i know This for a fact, the problem the potential buyers keep running into is CSX wants restrictions on the sale. It won’t be sold until they loosen up their demands.

Perhaps these links will help you out.  But in a nutshell, Q601/Q602 have been rerouted off that line, leaving only Q608/609 as run through trains.  Q606 was abolished and Q605 is Mobile to New Orleans now.

Question re CSX Baldwin, FL to Flomaton, AL Line

Does anyone know why there has been almost no daytime traffic on this line recently?  I can see the trains from my office window, and since February 8 only one train has passed thru Tallahassee during the workday.  Wondered if it was a maintenance window for a project, but seems like a very long one.  Thanks.
