Take the commuter train out to Dorion... lots of action there as both CN and CP run parallel through there. Or.. take the subway from downtown to Cote Vertu... take the bus (not sure of the number any more) all the way  down to the end of Sherbrooke Street W. Walk down to Ville St. Pierre (about a 10 minute walk).. great viewing of CN's three track mainline through there. To view CP... walk north from Sherbrooke St. W for about 10 minutes towards Cote St. Luc..

Any good spots to watch trains near Montreal?

Hi everyone.

I am searching for some good spots to watch trains near Montreal. Spots where I can be safe and where I am allowed to be.

I heard about Dorval but I don't know exactly where I should go exactly. I live on the south shore of Montreal so any good spots in this area would be very appreciated :)
