CSX keeping employees in the Dark
Posted by BaltACD on Monday, January 29, 2018 3:24 PM

CSX has stopped producing their daily 'News Wire' on their web site that was available to employees to be able to see where CSX was being mentioned in the various news media across the country.

Wonder if the "Trains (Online)" mentioned in the linked page is the same as this Trains Forum?

I have no doubt!

And I suspect all that were obsoleted was the original prime number.

CSX employees, especially those in the field, are considered mushrooms by upper management. They must be kept in the dark and fed horse......

Not just CSX....  Heck, not even just railroad workers.  It seems most employees who do the dirty work that brings in the money for companies get the mushroom treatment from the upper levels.

That's why John Banner remains such a railroading icon.

As Sergeant Schultz used to say:

"I was just following orders."

and

"I know NOTH-THING!"

It is so bad Discovery Channel even cancelled Mike Rowe's 'Dirty Jobs' show several years ago.
