Is there any chance this the same equipment involved in West coast accident. [Washington].?

Were to be sold to Michigan DOT for Wolverine (Chicago - Detroit service) last I heard.

No, this was a Talgo Mark VI trainset built by Talgo in the PNW before the plant in Milwaukee existed.

If you look at Beech Grove, IN on the south side of the Amtrak shops (Garstang Ave), you can see the two Wisconsin Talgo trainsets rusting to the rails...may never have been placed in revenue service.
