I didn't realize she was that old (her birthday IS the reason Roosevelt gave that little speech, isn't it?). A date which will live in infamy, indeed!
She's not quite that old - but I got tired of explaining each year that I came 2 years after Pearl Harbor. Still old, but not quite infamy. Actually not much remarkable about 1943 except it keeps a space between 42 and 44.

I was born on the day the Allies invaded Sicily. Aches and pains? You betcha,but I still can get around and fortunately; I feel somewhat better than a some of my contemporaries. I think age has a relative meaning to the individual. WE can still look forward to what the new day is bringing us....Even if, the first train of the day is at 0345.
