The bridge over the New River Gorge in West Virginia is almost this tall--when I've gone over it (imagine a pickup-truck camper on a winday day...that would be me!) I just didn't look down!

Crossing a girder bridge in a passenger car is unnerving enough - you can't see what's holding you up and you're not that far off the ground. Even a 100 foot or so viaduct like Kinzua or Starucca could be a tad scary. 900 feet?

Came across this site which indexes thousands of structures around the world. Many US rail bridges. Take a look at the Milllau Viaduct that just opened in Southern France - magnificent - or is it, C'est magnifique!?
