overall I enjoyed your video also. I wish I could go to this place and watch trains. "My" railroad is the CSX between Nashville and Chattanooga. I suspect you have read about the soap opra unfolding at CSX right now. Train frequency seems to be down although I did get to see a mixed frieght and a stack train back to back this morning. Both were northbound. Would be nice to watch a railroad that is free of drama and into the business of running trains and moving frieght. Thanks for bringing it to me.

Anytime! Im glad you enjoyed it and I could bring the action to you. Posts like yours makes me remember why I enjoy filming trains so much! Thanks for watching, stay tuned!
K. P. HarrierHow did you see so many trains? When I visit, nothing is ever happening …
Someone has encountered Dark Railfan Energy; when you visit a location previously visited by railfans, this energy repels trains away in time and space for indeterminate periods. Usually happens to me when visiting one of K.P.'s haunts .....
K. P. HarrierThe video was surprisingly good and stable. What I didn’t like was the many pop-ups that were a constant distraction and irritation, which suggests to me that you are making money via the forum, which is a no-no.
Watched the video in the window on this page and saw No pop-ups; rarely see one here except for a Kalmbach advert. Also interesting since I turn off the uBlock Origin addon on favorite sites (like trains.com) in order not to affect their ad revenue. OTOH I leave it on for infuriating sites like YT that insert 2 minute ads onto 30 second videos !!!

Did you “pay off” the DS and Yardmaster so there would be a bunch of trains and movements? Did you share the video’s profits with them? Shades of Mexico to the south?
Technical clarifications …
You were at Pepper Ave. The official Colton city limit land is WEST of Pepper Ave. East of Pepper Ave. is unincorporated San Bernardino County land. However, that unincorporated land stops eastwardly at Rancho Ave. and east of there is in the city limits of Colton again. Does that make sense, HybridHobby?

The fireworks towards the end of the video were a welcome sight. Seeing them suggests, at least to me, that they might have been a Fourth of July event at the National Orange Show grounds in San Bernardino, the next town to the east.
The “showdown” idea doesn’t make sense. Who is fighting? Originally, I thought the video was about BNSF vs. UP at Colton Crossing, but the Colton Flyover is there now and there is no longer conflicts. The yard master and dispatcher are physically in two different locations, so they couldn’t be having a fist fight … which would have made interesting video for sure …
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- K.P.’s absolute “theorem” from early, early childhood that he has seen over and over and over again: Those that CAUSE a problem in the first place will act the most violently if questioned or exposed.
Hey guys, spent some time one hot muggy summer night at Colton. Here is a video of all the action. Hope you all enjoy, lots of traffic!
